1) What is rugby?

Rugby is a contact team sport originated in England in the first half of the 19th century. The sport is based on running with the ball in hand. In its most common form, a game is between two teams of 15 players using an oval-shaped ball on a rectangular field with H-shaped goalposts on each try line. Rugby, also known as the "sport for all sizes" is an inclusive sport with positions suited to different body types.

 

2) HOW MANY PLAYERS ARE ON THE FIELD?

In our event, there will only be five players on the field at once.

 

3) Who can register a team?

Teams are co-ed and can have up to 10 players, so we recommend a department or organization register a team. Smaller firms and organizations can band together with clients, partners, or friends.

 

4) Do we need to know how to play rugby?

No, but it helps to know the rules and if a few players on your team are familiar with the game.

 

5) How competitive is this tournament?

As competitive as you like! We have different divisions based on your level of experience and appetite for competition. 

 

6) How do I participate?

You can register a team by ________. 

Teams will be assigned to brackets reflecting their industry. Each team will play a minimum of 3 games.
